Digital Advertising Specialist

Job Description:

The Digital Advertising Specialist is responsible for setting up, optimizing, and reporting on digital advertising campaigns for Murphy Nasica’s clients. This position is primarily focused on Facebook and Instagram social media advertising, non-social ad placement, and paid search ads within the Google advertising platform.

Campaigns will also include retargeting, display, and video ads. In addition, the Specialist will be responsible for the creation of website landing pages and fundraising pages. This position will require approximately 80% hands-on implementation, optimization, research, and reporting on campaigns, and 20% budget allocation, strategy, and occasional client communication. We are looking for a candidate who can be a team player with our in-house and, occasionally, client teams.

In this role you will:

The essential functions of this Specialist position include the following:

  • Setup and ongoing optimization and management of Social/PPC/Digital Advertising campaigns, donation pages, and website landing pages for multiple clients
  • Analysis of campaign data and reporting on recommendations and strategy
  • Management of ad budgets, text ad creative, and keyword research
  • Ability to communicate professionally on client calls and via email
  • Actively collaborate with Murphy Nasica digital marketing team and account managers to align digital advertising campaigns with other ongoing goals
  • Ensure implementation of best practice guidelines
  • Must be comfortable working in a team and collaborating with other departments
  • Experience or interest in politics is a plus

The skills/qualifications we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 1 year of Facebook or Google Ads account management experience required
  • Minimum of 1 year of Digital Agency experience required
  • Google Ads Certification a plus
  • Google Analytics experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Retargeting/Remarketing, Display, and Rich Media/Video Advertising
  • Knowledge of SEO, online search mediums and social media and an understanding of how all of these channels work together with advertising is a plus
